PowerPivot Addin in Excel 2010 Disppeared
Today while working with PowerPivot Report in between my report crashed out and it was showing message thatMicrosoft Excel is not Responding.
I restarted the excel and noticed that PowerPivot Option in Menu bar was not there which was before.
I again restarted the system but that didn't work
SO here is the Solution to have PowerPivot Option back to Menu Bar
Click File
Options
AddIn
Manage(Drop Down list)
Com Addins
Checked the PowerPivot for Excel
ok
PowerPivot will come back to the Menu bar.
If above steps didn't work and displaying error below:
Downloading file:///C:/Program Files (x86)/Microsoft Analysis Services/AS Excel Client/10/makefile.inc did not succeed
Then follow these steps
Right click MyComputer
Properties
Advanced Tab
Environmental Variable
New User Variable
Name- VSTO_SUPPRESSDISPLAYALERTS
Value-0
Repair PowerPivot For Excel from Control Panel(Add and Remove Features)
Restart excel if open
The Above Error will be resolved and will display the PowerPivot Option back.
